To store your files in. Remember the "personal" folder in Windows NT.
Same thing. The default location that you're supposed to save stuff, in
the eyes of Windows and applications written for it.

Let us not forget:
My Albums
My Archives
My Chat Logs
My Computer
My Data Sources
My eBooks
My Music
My Network Places
My Pictures
My Received Files
My Recent Documents
My Roboform Data
My Shapes
My Soaps
My TiVo Recordings
My Videos
My Virtual Machines
My Widgets
MyMacros
My Installations
My Business Objects Documents

MY ASS!
