OS XP and IE6 are two indepedent s/w ...u have to update them both

Im doing some patching on my PC and was wondering if anyone can answer the
following query.
OS is Windows XP Pro
I have installed XP SP1. Does this Service Pack incorporate IE6 SP1 updates
or do I have to install both updates?
