You gave me an idea regarding the permissions of the share. Users had NTFS
Permissions, but not share permissions. I had the share set to
administrators Full control. When I gave read to authenticated users, it
worked like a charm!! Thanks for the insight!

If you logon as user and if you can access the share through the network
that should not be the problem then. If not - In regards to the =
permissions
- for testing purposes you can add the user and the machine specifically =
to
that share and give them access and then try again.=20
Are you publishing the package or is it assigned?

The path is correct, and accessible. What rights are required by a =
system
logging in to access the share? Is authenticated users, read & execute
sufficient?

Is the network path to the install package correct? Can it be accessed =
=3D
from that machine?

Subject: [windows2000] GPO Software Deployment
I'm having a problem deploying software to specific machines. I'm =3D
assigning the GPO to an OU. After rebooting the server, I get a message =
on
the startup screen stating that it's applying settings of the GPO, but =
it =3D
goes away much too fast for the software to have actually installed. =
After
logging in, the package has not been installed. Any suggestions?
