But here is your answer..(if you checked the FAQ's on thethin you may of found it) http://thethin.net/faqs2.cfm?id=423&category=1 JK -----Original Message----- From: windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Costanzo, Ray Sent: Thursday, May 29, 2003 2:37 PM To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] File associations can't be changed Hi list, We have a few W2K Servers here that have the options for changing file associations (any file type) grayed out. There is no one in my department that has any record or memory of setting a policy to disable this or anything. These options are disabled when logging in physically at the machine as the local administrator or as a domain admin, so regardless of the user having administrative rights on the machine, the options are disabled. Does anyone know of such a policy or any other reason that may be causing this? Thanks a lot, Ray at work ================================== To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm
