Hidden volumes reside within standard Truecrypt volumes that can only be
accessed if you can specify their exact name (and password of course)
after mounting the standard volume. It's purpose is that it allows you
to disclose the password (if u have to) for the standard volume without
compromising the data within the hidden one. There is no identifiable
difference between the hidden vol and the standard volumes data/free
space.

A great solution to store personal data in that you don't want it to be
accessed if lost. Even if the standard volume was cracked, potential
data thieves wouldn't be aware of the existance of the hidden volume.

Only prob is if u forgot the name of the hidden vol!

Hope that made sense!!

Hidden volumes? Like in hiding c:\ but still be able to run apps from
it? I
need to look into this...
