Download my chkspool utility. It includes a utility (TEDGDATE.EXE) that
generates a batch file to put the current date/time into environment
variables, which can be used to rename files/directories...

One way to get it done.

Subject: [windows2000] Batch-question on dates

Hi all,

Using bat/cmd-files, is there a command to tell the batchfile to
create a folder named after the date, ie "md %date%", and the date
returned would tell the batchfile to create a folder called
"2003-06-19"?

Thx.

BW,

Sorin
