Hello Everyone,

I have always used Veritas Backup Exec and that have always run great.

I have a file server that needs to be backed up but does not need the extra
expenditure of a Backup Exec. I tried using NTBackup but I can't get it to
work.

Here is what I have:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntbackup.exe backup "@C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows
NT\NTBackup\data\Daily Backup Job.bks" /n "Media created 14/4/2004 at 09:29"
/d "Set created 14/4/2004 at 09:30" /v:yes /r:yes /rs:no /hc:off /m copy /j
"Daily Backup Job" /l:s /p "4mm DDS"

Daily Backup Job.bks consists of only d:\

If I run the command the ntbackup starts, It says mounting device and then
it jumps out. No error messages in event log or anything?

Anyone has a clue?

If anyone is running ntbackup as well can you send me your commands so I can
check it out?

Thanks a lot!!!

Eduardo
