We currently have 1 x SBS 2003 server running Exchange 2003, portal server, and webmail as a DC.

we have 1 x 2003 standard at another office acting as DC (not SBS).

Due to SBS being restricted to 75 users max, loking to purchase new hardware with 2003 standard, build with Exchange 2003 and migrate this from SBS to new server leaving in place the portal server and potentially webmail on the SBS.

Any advice or direction to documentation much appreciated. I am not too experienced with Exchange migrations and not aware of any issues with this, or any with SBS

Advice please guys

Hi chaps,

I have been delegated a project to migrate our current system.

We currently implement MS Win2003 SBS on our primary server running Exchange 2003, SharePoint Server and Webmail functionality of SBS. We now require to move on to 2003 Standard edition which in turn requires upgrading all of the other products and hardware.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of documentation for beginning this process, or advice, warnings on any obstacles which I may find.

It should be a fairly straight forward process however, I am sceptical as always with anything microsoft...

Thanks in advance
