Turns out my Winamp problem was actually a Bruce problem. And I should
have known better. I had forgotten that zero was a centered volume in
Winamp, so I had it at fifty percent, which means centered volume within
the Windows volume control. I've set my Winamp paning to zero%, and all's
well. Chalk one up for ineptitude.
