No, it is not a beta. It is version 5.541, which I have been using for months.
If I don't read a solution here soon, I will just reinstall it, safely backing
up all my bookmarks first of course, since I have the executable here in my
downloads folder and see if that will fix it.

Hmm, my Winamp just comes up when I insert a CD into the computer. I've
always had Winamp set up that way, and it still does that now. I just tried it.
But it will not go past the current track anymore. It definitely used to
though. I'm sure of that.

Hey Evan? does your computer take you to the cd when you are at
the desktop? You put your cd in, for me. I just close the door and
what my computer does is it will announce for example party classics.
I have a choice to play using winamp so, I pick it! will play all
the way through! If I look at the list using windows explorer I can
find for example: Aero Smith Uncle Salty track nine. I play it. It
wont continue. When I go to where it says play using winamp it will
play all the way through. I can't find in the preferences where you
can tell it to play whole cd! This puzzles me. I hope I gave the right
info.

Well, I haven't played CD's in my Winamp for a while, but I would swear
that it used to play a CD continuously. Now, it stops at the end of the current
track and will not just start playing the next one. I have to tell it to go to
the next track manually. I don't recall changing anything, and I can't find
anything that sounds as though it would fix this. I've looked in Playback under
Preferences, but there isn't an option that says Play CD Continuously, or
Automatic Track Transitions or whatever it might be that would make a CD play
without stopping at the end of the current track. There's gotta be something
somewhere, doesn't there?
Anyone know how to fix this little annoyance?
