I'm not sure why writing to AOL is a daunting task. Drop an email to
AOLAccessibility@xxxxxxxx In fact, Tom Wlodkowski, the Director of
Accessibility at AOL, appeared on the 28th FSCast, and asked for blind users of
Winamp to send in their complaints and suggestions on Winamp's accessibility.
AOL's Accessibility Policy at http://dev.aol.com/accessibility/policy is also a
good read and may be something to refer to if you drop an email to AOL.
I suspect the perception of whether Winamp's library is accessible or not has
to do with what people are trying to do with the library and how willing they
are to put up with different work arounds and idiosyncrasies'. It's my media
library of choice because it's the only one I've found that I can use and does
everything I want it to do.

Yeah, quite a few cannot access it, anymore and we sure wish we could, but,
writing to AOL is a daunting task; better off to hope that someone sees
replies, like this one! It is a rarity, nowadays, when the library is
accessible, especially in JAWS!

If you use NVDA, or System access to go, the library is somewhat accessible
with those to programs. Jaws and Win eyes as far as I know have some
accessibility issues.
