[win2kforum] Behaviour of MSN-Messenger

Hi
Usually I use the MSN Messenger in order to communicate with friends.
There are occasions, where I don't switch off my PC and it runs more than
one or two days continuously. If after such a time I want to "talk" via
MSN-Messenger to a friend, is NOT possible. The friend can't call me and I
can't call my friend, so NO AUDIO!! In 99% also NO VIDEO!! Writing is no
problem.
If I reboot my system and try afterwards to contact my friend, then NO
Problems!! AUDIO & VIDEO and Writing is functioning.
What could be the reason?
Any Ideas?
I'd appreciate any answer that will bring some light into this darkness.
