Subject: [WIA-Info] Wiltondale Snow Plow Update

I have been in constant communication with Councilman David Marks since early
Sunday morning. (More than a dozen phone calls, e-mails, and text messages
have been exchanged.) Here is what I know:

The subcontractor assigned to plow our neighborhood has clearly failed to
perform the job. The county did not have a back-up plan for non-performing
snow removal contractors for this storm. So we are now waiting for snow
removal equipment to free up from other assignments. This is unacceptable,
but there is nothing that we can do about it right now. We are where we are.
There has been no response to my communications with the county executive or
DPW. Councilman Marks is outraged, and trying really hard to get DPW to
reallocate snow removal assets to our neighborhood ASAP.

If you see a plow in our neighborhood, please respond to this email with the
location so that we can relay the update to the neighborhood.

Thank you,

Nate Raider
