There's no better way to spend Earth Day (April 22nd) than by getting
together with your community to restore the Chesapeake watershed, so start
in your own backyard! Join us as we rally together to cleanup Herring Run;
we will start the cleanup beginning at the footbridge located on Weatherbee
Road and work upstream. Our goal is to clean all the way up to Aigburth
Road. PLEASE USE THE SIGNUP LINK BELOW (*tickets*).
Note, there are spots that will be rather deep so please only participate in
areas you feel safe to do so. HIGHLY suggested to wear waterproof shoes.
Please be extremely careful of the wildlife in the water - it is their home!
We will have garbage bags and a limited number of gloves at a first come
first serve basis. If you don't see anyone at the footbridge walk we may
just be already upstream look for a person in a glow-vest.
