Here's a couple of happenings around San Diego that may be of interest to
you.
Twilight Concert Series in the Park
Sprekels Organ Pavilion
Balboa Park
Starts around 6:15, bring a blanket!
Throughout the summer there will be a series of performances, free of
charge, at the beautiful Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park. Below is the link

Kearny Mesa Rec Center Family Day
3170 Armstrong Street (right off of Mesa College Drive)
Saturday, July 14, 2012
Festivities starting at 6 pm and a the movie, Dolphin Tail, to be shown
starting at Dusk. This is an outdoor event so come early to pick your spot!
Free fun activities for kids and Polynesian Dancing. Bring some cash for
the food for you to enjoy during the movie.
South Clairemont Family Day
3805 Clairemont Drive
Saturday, August 4, 2012, 8 am - 4 pm
This is an annual tradition for this rec center where the day starts off
with breakfast followed by a day of performers, classic cars, vendors, food,
and rides! The South Clairemont Pool is also usually open free of charge
for the day.

San Diego Symphony Summer Pops Series 2012
This annual tradition features concerts from the San Diego Symphony right on
the bay, plan you day right and see it from adjoined parks on the bay!

Campland on the Bay
Located on the shores of Mission Bay, and part of Mission Bay Park, Campland
has been a vacation spot for families since 1969. The balmy climate,
proximity to Sea World (so close you can watch the theme park's fireworks
display at night from the campground), Legoland, San Diego Zoo, the Gaslamp
Quarter and other area attractions, combined with Campland's amenities, make
this beachfront playground a legendary family retreat.
