[webproducers] in complex times you need to bottom feed

Howdy all,

<PLUG>
I added a basic, small business web site proposal sample to
share with this group.

It was written during my bottom-feeding days when I responded to
scores of exploitative Craig's Lists ads. And, while you may
disagree with the content or my views on a given technical
solution, that point is moot. The document itself might prove
useful in helping you structure your own project proposals.

I wouldn't necessarily use this proposal as a basis for a $500K
web site but if you do freelancing or cater to small, local
businesses, it may help you some (or not).

I also have available several other free documents that might be
useful to the web production community:

* A Web Site HTML Template Guide - served as a visual map for a
serious of templates provided to a corporate client in order to
help them preserve the final look and feel of the site's design
when it came time for them to add their backend code and
business logic.

* My Web Site Interface Design Primer - Required reading for
those who think glitz and flash are the only way to go. Helps
explain key interface concepts in layman's terms and is full of
useful examples (both good and bad) of a given UI concept in
practice.

* Generic E-Commerce RFP - Written years ago for a medium-scale
E-Commerce site a former corporate master was thinking of
building. A bit dated but the structure could prove useful.

Enjoy.

Ari

P.S. Give my game Disasteroids II a whirl too. I originally
wrote it to kill time during slow days at work and it still
comes in handy for that plurpose plus it doesn't require Sys
Admin priveliges to install.
