Well, I was thinking or Artworks - I'm on 2.5something, but want the
new PDF features, just in case.
Similarly, I was thinking of upgrading my EasiWriter for its PDF
capabilities. Both of these so I can do easy things in RISCOS but then
convert them for the poor benighted things who live behind
dark-curtained windows !
I have GimpPrint - but it's the speed, or lack of it, which I would
hope might have been addressed. The output is fine in qulaity,
provided that you have spent hours of time and gallons of ink in
calibrating the damn printer. I have to say (choke, choke) that
windows printing is easier in this respect.
I have Messenger Pro and have had no problems with any incoming
e-mails, so don't know whether base-64 is a problem. MPro does seem to
be very good though. The editor is useful without being over sexy, and
I am very happy with it. Which is more than you can say for Webster !
But what about a really good, up to date browser which will work on a
RiscPC ? Has anyone any views on where Oregano is ? Is it worth buying
or shall I stick with a combination of Fresco 3.2 and NetSurf ?
Graham
