There is a mother coyote who either just had pups or is about to. Caught her
on a trail cam in the middle of the day. Also have seen coons a fox and
fisher. Oh ya a bear. Something has the horse spooked back in the woods so I
am assuming it's a bear. I think it is bear season if anybody hunts.

We too have lost chickens, and also rabbits. I just figured I'd ask. Our last
cat lasted 20 years, he operated magnificently under cover. No predator touched
him! Rocky on the other hand probably went over to say a friendly hello to the
coyote who frequents our compost pile. Either that or he climbed onto the roof
and with the almost full moon, he became a shining beacon with his white and
orange fur, for the huge owls around here to get a good aim. He did have a
curfew, but sadly somehow got out.
Thanks everyone,

Not to be negative ( and I am certainly praying that you find your cat
Erika ), but we have lost several large
ducks, others across town have lost chickens, and we almost lost our 10lb. dog
( to a Hawk ) a few weeks ago. The hawk we saw and interrupted, all the others
just vanished from our yard without any noise or feathers left behind - just
gone.
Now this means something was getting over a substantial 4ft. fence in the
middle of the day even when we were at
home, taking a bird without a struggle and leaving.( No clues.) We have now
closed all our poultry into their pen
surrounded by electric and inside our fenced in backyard ( that's double
fencing ) and haven't lost anymore birds
for the last three weeks. We also don't let the cat out at all, and escort
the little dog. Some thing is hungry !
I sincerely hope your cat comes happily home, but you may want to keep
him inside from then on. Linda

Subject: [The-L] Missing cat
I am wondering if anyone may have seen our orange tabby cat. He's been missing
since last Wednesday. Friendly little guy (maybe not so little), goes by the
name of Rocky. We're at 620 Orange Rd.
Thanks
