To obtain an absentee ballot you must first fill out an application. Once
I have your application I give or mail you a ballot and the envelope in
which it must be returned.
That ballot may be cast in the Town Clerk's office or elsewhere and
returned in person or left in the black mailbox outside Town Hall. It can
also be mailed via USPS, but where the Primary election is just two days
away, at this point "snail mail" would likely cause the ballot to arrive
late.
Ballots must be received by the Town Clerk before the polls close at 8
p.m. on the 8th. Ballots received after that time will be rejected and
cannot be counted.
I am able to Email the absentee ballot application, which you print, fill
out, scan and return to me via Email. However, unless you are an overseas
(UOCAVA) voter, you must use a regular absentee ballot and not an
electronic one.
