DAW FESTIVAL 2006
NEWS and MOOOOs from DAW FESTIVAL 2006
We are pleased to announce that Wisconsin Association of the Deaf has
been informed it will be granted a $500 DAWN Action Grant under WCDD for
an advocacy activity! WCDD has approved our application to apply for
this "Quality Communities Utilize" grant to be used for DAW Festival
2006. We are grateful for their support!
We also thank and recognize our first DAW Festival 2006 Door Prize
Donor, Milwaukee Repertory Theater ("The Rep") for their donation of
theatre tickets. The tickets can be used for performances interpreted
in American Sign Language as part of their Rep Access program. A
schedule of interpreted performances will be given to all ticket recipients.
DAW Festival 2006 Committee will continue to update you with Sponsor and
Donor information as we approach the event date, Saturday, September
23. Sponsors and Donors will be announced on WADnet upon receipt of
their donations. Thank you to all sponsors, donors, and vendors who
have pledged their intent to support this event!

or exhibitor at the event, making a donation or sponsorship, please
contact dawfestival@xxxxxxxxxxxx **Remember, the deadline for booth
registration is August 15**

Saturday, September 23, 2006, 10:00am-5:00pm at Wisconsin State Fair
Park Expo Center, West Allis, Milwaukee County.
