Watch the Barish duo and Tim Monigan go full circle by skiing,
snowmobiling, and bobsledding inside the 3,300 acre-long Park City
Mountain Resort at Park City, Utah. In bobsledding, watch Joel talk with
4-time world champion bobsledder Stephan Bosch in the segment. Joel
exclaims "Bobsledding is extremely fast going 5 G-Force, what a thrill of
a lifetime, and no, it isn't anything to me. I went 15 acres straight in
full speed, ended up with a time of 52.06 at 80.4 miles-per-hour!" Joel
felt physically deflated, compacted while going so fast in such a short
time, it was a very fast time to be in. Watch this video but put your
helmet on!

Significance of Sign Language in our everyday life and its relevance to
public safety

While Molinari illustrates the significance of sign language in our
everyday lives, she also stresses its link to public safety. Because sign
language is the 3rd most used language in America, there is lack of
interpreters statewide and nationwide, which contributes to the public
safety problem. "The ASL (American Sign Language) alphabet should be
posted in every ambulance, police station, fire station, hospital, and
school," Molinari said. If a person can finger spell and learn to count to
10, they can ask basic life saving information and give or receive any
phone number, which is important during life-saving situations.

Indiana Girls and CSD-Fremont Boys claim victories at the Clerc Classic

California School for the Deaf-Riverside was the host of this year's
event, and 16 teams from eight schools were in town to compete.

Nearly 1,000 people were in attendance at the girls and boys finals
Saturday, held at Riverside Poly; they stepped in to host the event after
another school backed out on two weeks notice. In the girl's championship,
the Indiana School for the Deaf defeated Washington's MSSD, 45-37. In the
boy's finals, CSD-Fremont defeated Maryland School for the Deaf, 67-43.
Great competition and sportsmanship in the Deaf sports world!
