Alert: Sen. Feingold Listening Sessions in 8 Counties

U.S. Senator Russ Feingold will hold listening sessions in Price and Rusk Counties on Thursday, August 10, 2006. He will also hold listening sessions in Marinette and Florence Counties on Monday, August 14, 2006.

In addition he will hold sessions in Forest and iron Counties on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 and in Ashland and Bayfield Counties on Wednesday, August 16, 2006.

Senator Feingold has pledged to hold listening sessions in all of Wisconsin's 72 counties each year of his six-year term. If constituents need special accommodations at the listening sessions they should contact Senator Feingold's Middleton office at 608-828-1200.

His Price County listening session will be held at 12:15 p.m. at the Park Falls City Hall, 400 - 4th Avenue South, Park Falls.

His Rusk County listening session will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Hawkins Community Center, 509 Main Street, Hawkins.

His Marinette County listening session will be held at 7:30 a.m. at the Porterfield Town Hall, W3435 County Highway G, Porterfield.

His Florence County listening session will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Large Conference Room at the Wild Rivers Interpretive Center, Corner of US Highway 2 and Highway 70/101, Florence.

His Forest County listening session will be held at 7:45 a.m. at the Armstrong Creek Community Center, 7860 Old 101 Road, Armstrong Creek.

His Iron County listening session will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the Mercer Community Center, 2648 Margaret Street, Mercer.

His Ashland County listening session will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Marengo Town Hall, south of Marengo on County Highway C - west of State Highway 13, Marengo.

His Bayfield County listening session will be held at 1:45 p.m. at the Red Cliff Emergency Services Building, 37345 State Highway 13, Bayfield.

Each session will last up to one hour. These meetings allow you the opportunity to express your views to the Senator on federal issues such as IDEA, MiCASA, Family Opportunity Act, Rehabilitation Act, housing, health care, voting and campaign finance reform.
