INCLUSION SOLUTIONS TO PROMOTE
DEAF NITE AT CULVER’S RESTAURANT
Chicago, IL: August 30 should be a special night at the Culver’s in
Delavan Wisconsin as deaf and hard of hearing customers will gather at
the restaurant to thank management and staff for working to make their
services more accessible to the community
Last year the restaurant installed in “Order Assist” system from
Chicago-based Inclusion Solutions. Order Assist is a patented system
that allows deaf and hard of hearing customers to better communicate
with restaurant employees while using their drive-thru operation. “We
welcomed the opportunity to better serve our customers, specifically
those who are deaf and hard of hearing,” said Bill Ven Housen,
owner/operator of the restaurant. “In the past, we were able to help
this community when they ordered on the inside of our restaurant. Our
partnership with Inclusion Solutions has enabled to us to better assist
this group in our drive-thru. Drive thru’s tend to be fast and
convenient, so this new system really provides a great option for these
customers.” For this special night when these customers come and buy a
Value Basket and they will receive a FREE single dish of frozen custard!
“This night is intended to thank Culver’s for making their restaurant
more accessible,” said Patrick Hughes, Jr. president of Inclusion
Solutions.
“And it also will show Culver’s the economic power of the deaf community
and the loyalty they bring to a company that makes an effort to
accommodate them. It will be a great opportunity to create a
relationship between the staff and their customers and showcase the
Culver’s culture.”
Hughes said that Inclusion Solutions and Culver’s have been fine-tuning
the system since it was installed last fall with input from customers
and staff. “Culver’s commitment to this service is appreciated by those
who use it and we’re working to get it operating in the most convenient
and effective way.” he said.
The restaurant is located at 1931 E. Geneva St, Delavan WI. The
gathering will take place between 4:30pm and 7:30pm.
Inclusion Solutions is a Chicago-based company that provides business
with products and services that enable them to become compliant with the
mandates of the Americans With Disabilities Act. The company has four
core units: Election access products and Ballot Call, for access issues
at polling places, Fuel Call, which helps drivers with disabilities get
refueling assistance at service stations, Big Bell, which addresses
issues of access to business entrances, and Order Assist.
With sales of more than $1,500,000 and a nationwide network of sales
representatives, Inclusion Solutions is the country’s leading provider
of accessibility solutions for the more than 54 million American’s with
disabilities.
