Hi: In my quest to increase our profession's visibility on the web, I decided to create my own Google Knol page, and I created four step-by-step "Knols." One is on makeup application, and three are on needle threading. I took my own photos of myself for the needle threading instructions, so please don't laugh too hard. I used a tripod and a timer and spent many late nights in my basement office, trying to get the perfect shot. Anyway, have a look. It's my first effort at trying to disseminate knowledge (thus the term Google "Knol") about our profession and the specialized techniques we use. My Knol page: _http://knol.google.com/k/maureen-duffy/-/3se06belyotdw/0#knols_ (http://knol.google.com/k/maureen-duffy/-/3se06belyotdw/0#knols) If you want to suggest corrections, please don't send them directly to me. There is an editing function built into each Knol, which is where the web community submits edits for each Knol. Also, I'm not sure about the accessibility features of Google Knol, so it would be helpful if you gave Google feedback about that too. I was limited by the template Google provides. Anyway, I'll appreciate your help and comments and I look forward to your feedback. Best, Maureen Maureen A.
