Subject: {GA-VI} Nature for the Blind

Hello All!

Evan Barnard, the scout who built the Whispering Woods Braille trail at the
Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center in Buford, Georgia is now a freshman
at the University of Georgia majoring in ecology.  He is continuing his work
with the visually impaired community and expanding the organization Nature for
All. Recently, he shared exciting news with me, that I’d like to pass on to you.

Evan created a new website
[www.naturefortheblind.com<http://www.naturefortheblind.com/>] with a directory
of all the existing Braille trails and sensory gardens in the world, listing
them by state and by country. He estimates there are 140 Braille trails and
sensory gardens in 17 countries around the world, including 89 the in USA.  The
website also provides information and links for schools and summer camps for
the blind and other educational resources as well as organizations for blind
sports. If you know of any additional Braille trails or sensory gardens that
are not listed on the website, or if you have other outdoor and educational
resources to share, please email him at
evan.barnard@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:evan.barnard@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>.

Attached for your review is the original press release that he created.

Kind Regards,

Heather Dicks
