If it's of any help, (with Steve's permission) I can send you the FM8 HSC
from my system which works perfectly, at least this would eliminate any
concern you may have about the HSC - I am running the same configuration as
you Sonar 8.5, 64 bit Win 7 pro.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for re-zipping the file. The file now pasted correctly.
However the Category menu and Mode menus, don't work on the
Browser page. When I press the corresponding Keys, Jaws says
Unknown Function Call to OpenMenuHSC, and nothing happens. I've
tried virtually clicking, with the left and right keyboard mouse
buttons, but nothing happens. Pressing Control-alt-windows R to
reset categories and modes gives no feedback whatsoever. I went
to the FX page, afraid that all pop-up menus in FM8 would yield
Unknown Function errors, but the FX page seems to be working
correctly, menus pop up and knob amounts change.
Do you know what I'm doing wrong? I'm using sonar 8.53 64-bit on
64-bit win7 with the propper screen-size.
