Hi Susan,
To speed up JAWS, insert and j, then options and down to voices. Next
enter on global adjustment and JAWS will say "modify default" radio
button checked, tab once and it will say "rate" and arrow up or down to
increase the rate,
then tab over to the O.K. button.
