I agree with Joan Ann, this google toolbar only causes problems so follow
her instructions and remove it.

Hi Seoirse
The best thing to do is to remove the google toolbar.
To do this you:
1. Go to the start menu
2. Press S for settings and press enter.
3. Press enter again to go to control pannel
4. Press A until you come to add/remove programs and press enter.
5. The computer will show you the list of programs installed on your
system.
6. Down arrow until you come to "google toolbar" and then, press the tab
key to remove it. I'm not sure whether the computer will ask you to confirm
the removal.
Note: Be very careful to ensure that your cursor is on the "google toolbar"
as you don't want to accidentally uninstall something else that may be
important.

that's cool, do you know by any chance how to deactivate it ?
It's a bit of a pain in the ass alright, as you say yourself, it interferes
with me when on line, and i don't know how to either use it or get rid of
it.

It sounds like you have the google toolbar installed.
I don't use this toolbar as I found that it interfered with jaws when using
the net.

address and phone number etc, jaws reads out to me the following
"your google tool bar can fill this in for you"
does anyone know what this is ? and if so, what commands do i use, to carry
out this programme to fill in the spaces automatically ?
