Hi Noreen, Do you think that your folders have become sub-folders of one of the other folders?. Normally this is true where Inbox is the main folder and anything that comes off it are the sub folders. Perhaps now one of the other folders have become the mainf folder. Paul. Hi Paul and all, All my folders in Level 3 have disappeared and also messages from my sent folder. The other night I got a message asking me if I wished to compact messages and as this came up a number of times, having cancelled request initially I eventually entered on yes and now all folders I had created in level 3 have disappeared without trace and also an empty sent folder. Folders created in level 2 are all intact so I am puzzled as to what caused this. In my Recycle Bin all the deleted folders are listed with ".back" after each one but when I tried to restore one or two, they disappeared without trace. Did a search for those and no result. All scans are clear and everything else working as usual. In all there are about 25 folders missing, including tutorials, hints, tips etc. so needless to say I am worried.
