[vip_students] Re: Braille Blazer Support!

Are his initials N J, Eleanor? If he's the one, whose bname you and I will
know, I know that he still pops up on UK blindness lists now and then. It's
almost a truism that - present company excepted - many of the nicer tech
support folks tend to move 'on to pastures new', once they see that their
ideas and input are no longer having the dynamic effect on their company
that they once did!

Indeed Tony you are quite right that the Braille Blazer is not supported any
more but there must be users out there who are quite compitent with it. I
know someone who is brilliant but sadly for me and indeed I am sure for
others requiring Tech Support he is no longer working for the company. What
a waste. This gentleman has gone on to a new venture for himself with a new
company I T related but I do not know how to contact him. Maybe he might be
on that list. Depends on his interest and if he is prepared to give
consultation voluntarily. He is blind but he is brilliant with I T. Such is
life. This is not to say that Paul Traynor is not brilliant too but this
man to whom I refer worked for Microsoft before going blind and then worked
in I T for the blind after that. The world of the blind can be relatively
small but never have I come across him only in his capacity as Tech Support.
You know how it is, you know someone who knows someone but as I say haven't
a clue where he is now.

Eleanor
