U-Select-It Corp. Introduces (accesssible) Hot Beverage Machine

Vending Market Watch presents late breaking news about the automatic merchandising industry.

U-Select-It Corp. introduced its new Geneva hot beverage merchandiser during the 2005 Fall NAMA Expo in Atlanta, Ga. As part of its new product offerings, the USI Geneva hot beverage merchandiser will be available in both fresh brew and freeze dry configurations. The Geneva dispenses a comprehensive menu of premium and specialty coffees, and teas. With a new European designed state of the art brewing and filter system and precise ingredient controls, a high quality cup is ensured each and every time. With a small foot print (just 28-inch square), the Geneva will fit most vending locations.

The Geneva is equipped with many customer-friendly features including a simple user interface with a large 10 - base Braille marked keypad and large LCD display. The Geneva also incorporates U-Select-It's iVend® delivery sensor technology that ensures constant vend performance and also senses when a customer wishes to use their own container. A visual brewing cue in the display and an automatically opening delivery door signal the end of the vend cycle and allow the customer to easily collect their beverage.

New technology for the operator includes MDB/DEX communication, SIMM card programming, mixing bowls that snap in and out for easy cleaning, drop in product canisters, a quick change filter, and one touch programming and flushing of systems all save operators valuable time on site.

This 115-volt unit only requires 12 Amp isolated circuit and is equipped with an advanced energy saving power management system (APMS), the Geneva's heating system automatically meters power based on level of water. It only uses what it needs to stay ready to vend the next hot beverage. In programmed economy mode, the Geneva powers down to minimum current needs and wakes up when first use is detected. It all adds up to less energy consumption.

For more information on the Geneva, contact your local USI distributor or call (800) 247-8709 or visit
