Is it a Dell computer your using? 

If so,

 Press insert and 3 to bypass the jaws hotkeys... this will turn it's self off 
after pressing the next key. 

Now press control alt and left / right arrow. You'll need  someone who can see 
the screen to confirm that it's the right way around.

hi gang

heres another one for you.

this time its the daughters laptop which is  acting bokkity.

i guess these things come in threes, ah.

anyway suddenly here desktop has all the icons sideways and the taskbar is 
moved to the right.

in other words she has to turn her screen on its side to view it properly as if 
she were holding the laptop the way you would hold a book.

we have gone into the desktop properties , appearence and display etc but no 
joy.

anyone any ideas.

she did a system restore but no joy either.
