Hi Martin,

Many thanks for that.

I must admit, that I didn't think of Googling! I'll certainly take a look
though.

As for your own query, I know that Audacity is free and is developed
for both the Windows and Mac platforms.

Haven'g used it though, so can't comment.

Have never heard of AudioCart.

Anyway, good luck with any work you do with your local community radio
station.

Eamonn

Hi Eamonn,

There are several free downloads available but I can't tell you if there
are
any that are more accessible than others. I Googled it to see what was
available and had 1,010,000 results. I used the following search term to
get the matches:

"wma to mp3",converter,download,free

There were several converters that apparently do exactly what you are
looking for. Sorry I can't provide any further help such as a
recommendation or knowing which ones are accessible but if you get free
downloads it won't matter as you can try a couple without any cost to you,
well except the time and effort.

Regards

Martin

Hi folks,

Just wondering if there are any free Windows based audio converters which
will convert WMA to MP3 or wav?

Thanks,

Eamonn
