Hi All, With the A G M coming up Saturday next I just thought that I would like to pass on a little info concerning A T M's! We were over in Italy recently and we had to go to an A T M just outside rome, and discovered to our horror that the machine was not at all accessible to the visually-impaired! It was solely a screen at the front where you would definitely would have to know where to touch before you could do any transaction, and even then you would want to be totally accurate in where you touched! Lucky I had my wife for sighted assistance otherwise I would have been banjaxed!! There were a couple of machines we used in Rome however & they were like our own here without the speech however! Someone told us that touch screens are going to be "the way of the future"! Me thinks that we can't be getting too congratulatory of ourselves yet re talking A T M's as there is a bbit to go yet I'm afraid! Anyone with any thoughts or ideas on the subject? Tony.
