Hi,

The International Telecommunications Union, the UN body charged with issues
around Telecommunications, in conjunction with G3ICT has released a new
report on making TV accessible.

I was lucky enough to be at the m-Enabling Summit in Washington when the
report was announced. In fact it was ITU that funded my trip. It was a
fantastic meeting with around 140 participants from 32 countries. I was
particularly impressed by information around access to Android phones and
the fact that AT&T have put their voice TTS software in the Cloud so that
developers can incorporate it into their software. The future is mobile and
the future is coming faster than we might like to think.

See the ITU Press Release regarding the report at:

Take care,

Gerry ellis
