Hi martin,If you had a serially connected speech synthesizer, it likewise couldn't be used either with NVDA. (I have a serially connected brailleNote mPower, which it can't work with.) I know that last year's version works with a Focus 40 Blue, and I mean to check whether the present version does. it should, although one person said that it doesn't.

Hi Flor, Yes it is not a USB display as it is an older Power Braille 80. I'llprobably have to use NVDA just with speech in that case as I can't afford toupgrade to a new display. Far as I know, the display must be USB connectible. (This would rule out some older displays.) ----- Original Message -----From: "Martin Fleming" <martinfleming01@xxxxxxxxxx>To: <vicsireland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, August 09, 2012 1:39 PM Subject: [vicsireland] NVDA and Braille DisplaysHi, does anyone know how, if possible, additional Braille displays canbe added to NVDA? I installed NVDA and discovered it doesn't support mydisplay and was wondering if it is possible to add other ones or olderdisplays so if anyone can help that would be great.
