Hello Stuart,

excellent podcast very professional as usual.
I must say I am enjoying the Fleksy app.
lovely to hear Cearbhall, we tend to forget the members that started VICS.
keep up the great work Stuart.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your feedback. Do you mean the opening music, or the music in-between each feature?

The very slight fade-in at the beginning is part of the track, unfortunately.

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

Liked all of it I assure you and well done to all involved.

Just wonder though that in the intro music that it comes in at a lower level increasing volume gradually.

Perhaps it may be my middle years but it certainly gives me a jolt (wakes me
up) whenever it starts to play.

Best,

Tony Sweeney

Dear All,

The August edition of our technology podcast is now available, either to
download at
http://www.ncbi.ie/files/audiofiles/podcast/podcast_august_2012.mp3 or to
listen to directly from your media player of choice at
http://www.ncbi.ie/files/audiofiles/podcast/podcast_august_2012.m3u

On this month's podcast we find out all about the Vodafone Smart
Accessibility awards, when we talk with Josh O'Connor and Hilary Casey.
Kerie Doyle tells us about a new app for iOS called Fleksy, which can
significantly speed up your typing on a touch screen. We have details about
NCBI's up-coming technology exhibition in September. Finally, Cearbhall O'Meadhra,
one of the founding members of VICS shares some of his assistive technology
memories and talks about some of his thoughts for the future.

Kind regards,

Stuart Lawler
