Damien,
I don't know which task you are trying to carry out on the iPhone when you
get this error but a quick search on the net shows that the keyboard is
hidden when the edit button is showing. You could try a single-finger double
tap on the screen to activate the edit button and this might resolve the
problem.
If not, then try to give a brief description of the steps you took to get to
this screen and we can see if we can find the solution.

I'm using an iphone 5 with the latest ios update. I think it's ios 7. Re the
blue tooth keyboard, it's an apple keyboard. That's all I can say about it.
I got it from the compu b shop last year.

I use a Bluetooth keyboard regularly with the iPhone so I will happily try
to help if I can.
Could you tell us what Bluetooth keyboard you are using? It would help to
know which version of IOS you are using and on what iPhone model.

Hi everyone.
I'm using a blue tooth keyboard with my iphone, or at least trying to. But,
when I try to type anything, nothing happens. The only sound I can get is
when I press the escape key it just says "keyboard hidden". Has anyone else
had this problem and if so, how do I resolve it?
