Hi eamonn,
(It might not be allowed at all.)

No, that doesn't work (Or I don't think it does). The only way it might is
if you got some software like a program called Hide-IP, by which you may be
seen as coming through an anonymous IP. (Even then, I think you may have to
have a .uk suffix for their geographical sensor or whatever it is -- I read
about it once, so i know they have some such software.)

Subject: [vicsireland] BBC IPlayer query

Hi folks,

I gather many BBC TV programmes, can be viewed online for a week after
broadcast, via the BBC's IPlayer.

However, most programmes are restricted to UK residents.

Is there any workaround for this, such as specifying your pc's location
as UK rather than Ireland?

Eamonn
