Thanks to all of you. Interesting to see the divergent opinions. I have no one
available to do a PowerPoint for me on short notice (my fault for being a last
minute person). And I am fairly certain some of the folks to whom I will be
presenting have learning disabilities that will impede their ability to absorb
the information solely through auditory means. So Lou -you win the prize by
telling me it's OK to use Word!

My personal opinion, as a sighted person who has given presentations, is that
your presentation is what you say, and the visual aid is optional, and, in my
opinion, sometimes a distraction from what you are saying.
But, if you think it would be helpful to have something for sighted people to
look at while you are making your presentation, I think it would be just as
effective as PowerPoint to just make a Word document with a bulleted list on
each page, in as large a font size as fits on the page.
