William.
Here are the steps for ensuring yur offline library is being shown. I know you
can find the stuff using Alexa but if you have no wifi, to coin a great old
English phrase, you're a bit buggered lol.
1. Tap on my music.
2. tap on the navigation button panel so that it opens.
3. Swipe right until you hear offline music library setting. If it says off
then swipe once more and there's a radio button. Double tap that and it will
then show you stuff from your SD card. My folder is in the route of my card
and seems to work fine.

[vi-kindle] Re: [vi-kindle] Transferring MP£ books to the fire tablet
hi kerry. ok. getting more interesting. unexpected consequences. i wonder if
there is some way to search a file?
or, a way to show folders not a complete list of files?
then again, starting to wonder if there is an app for this particular purpose?
did you try to play one? if so, what player works?
i think if you start an mp3, then stop, shut off the fire, you will find a
shortcut on the home page after tapping on recent.
you might also go back to that discussion page and describe exactly what you
have and if there is any way to see the distribution of files in another light.
for the most part, i've always gotten very good responses from such discussion
threads.
stay well ... william

Hi William. So, I went back and read the thread again, tried the
suggestion about turning on the off-line library, and sure enough, there they
all were.
My only problem now is that they are mixed in with my other albums.
