Hi William. Thanks for this. As I never really investigated the internal
storage of my fire tablet before, I'm not sure what normal is. LOL. That's part
of the problem :-) one of the files appears to be about 7 GB.

store and use it to look at the files on your internal drive and
external (sd card).
perhaps, then the files will make more sense.
although, note that when i look at the internal and external files in
quick settings (settings/storage) all looks normal to me.
