(VICT) Harness Handles etc

It's really nice to see so many posts appearing on list, been quietish
lately.
Here we have different schools that have different length harness handles
for their dogs. I'm wondering if it's the same with schools there in the US
or elsewhere? Are there reasons/benefits to either handle length? There is
a longer length, where you stand right near the dogs hind quarters, the
handle end would reach where the tail of the dog begins. The shorter handles
you would stand more near the dog's shoulder when holding the handle. Just
