[vi-android] scoling through a list quickly

Hi all I am enjoying my Samsung s5. One question I have is when you go in to
contacts I am finding sometimes when I scroll up with two fingers, I
accidently go in to where it says contact detail. That's okay as I am only
new at this. Is there a way to scroll up quickly. I don't mean move up
quickly I mean going up morethan a letter at a time. Do I stay on the left
and scroll?. Any tips with with all you android experts would be appreciated
