If your device doesn't have a recent apps button (like my Samsung galaxy note 2), long press the home key.
Once you have the list up, you can swipe the app you want to close off the side (long edge) of the screen, with Talkback running, do the gesture with two fingers.
Some devices (like Samsung) have a "close all" button in the bottom right of the recent apps list but not all devices do.

Hi Just click on the apps key at the right hand bottom of screen. This will display all open apps. Then long press on the app that you want to close until remove app box appears.
