UP sound down can be set to go to speaker by shaking it, and it will stay
that way until you either hang-up, or tap the audio button.
You can access any item on the screen if necessary.

OK, so I did indeed get my Motorola X, as I said I would, and god almighty
do I love it! I do need a little help though with something.
I have a pretty bad hearing loss, so therefore, when the phone is even as
close as 2 inches from my ear, just barely! enough to activate the screen
when in a call, I still have issues hearing Talkback through the private
earpiece. This makes turning on and off the speaker phone somewhat hard. I
can do it, don't get me wrong, and I do know pretty much where the audio
button is in my call screen, but it still is a bit tricky. I'm just curious
therefore...
I have heard, though somewhat old, that there are! some apps that'll,
definitely! help me with this. I know about upside down. that would be an
excellent! sollution if I simply needed to go to speaker phone, then set the
hone down on a table, or desk etc. I could just move it from my ear, flip
it over, and boom. done! The problem with this however is, I work a lot
with phone IVR systems, so this isn't a good option, as I wouldn't have
access to the call screen, nor the screen in general.
There was however an app that my friend David Erich from Lubbock TX told me
about, which sounds right up my alley. I just don't remember the name of
it, and I haven't been able to reach Dave to ask him again what it was
called. Hopefully, one of yall will know what he was talking about. He
said there was an app which would do the upside down thing, but it also!
would do some other cool things I may like such as the ability to shake my
phone to answer a call. I know to do that, there is an app called shake to
answer, but why do that if this one app would give me my speaker phone
ability, as well as that answer option all in one? The thing with the
speaker phone though is, I don't wanna have to lay the phone flat screen
face down. I'd like something like the IPhone when Voiceover's turned on,
where I could simply do nothing more than move the phone away from my ear,
and have it then automatically switch the speaker phone on without me having
to do anything at all. Using Android KitKat 4.4, is this doable?
