The tempo indicated is Alla Sarabanda, a gentle 3/4 meter,
Homophonic setting alternating between Hauptwerk (Gedact 8' + Viola
di Gamba 8' + Rohrflöte 4') and Hinterwerk (Geigenprincipal 8' +
Flauto amabile 4') supported by Pedal (Subbass 16' + Violon 8'). The
only explicit sounding of the chorale is the last phrase at the end
(Hauptwerk Bordun 16' + Gedact 8' + Viola di Gamba 8' + Principal
