The female Northern Parula on the other hand was desperate. She checked the bath water but there were three White-throated Sparrows guarding it. She sneaked in from the rear and pretended to be one of them. The White -throated one was not fooled. Finally she had the bath to herslelf but only for a moment. A male Northern Parula appeared to check out the bathing beauty. She invited him to join her and he did with great pleasure. The End p.s. If the photos look blurry to you, it is not because I have put in gaussian blur to protect the innocent. These shots were taken through my dining room double pane window section where our 12 month grandaughter Kaylyn had put her fingers, nose, etc. The photo quality may not be upto par but I really enjoyed the show put on by the Parulas.
