I work in the Procurement Office of the DCR  now so I though I would pass this 
on . See the tail end of migration time for our neotropical migrant birds going 
south and help a park too.

Volunteer at First Landing State Park from 2pm-6pm for National Public Lands Day

Then Enjoy a free family-oriented concert from 7-8:30pm

Refreshments ($) available courtesy of The Baystore

Event sponsored by Checkered Flag Toyota of Virginia Beach.

Volunteer registration will take place at the Chesapeake Bay Center from 
2pm-6pm.
Projects include beach clean-up, trail clean-up, & landscaping.
