A little respite was found in the Blue Ridge mountains this weekend however still pretty hefty heat and humidity for the higher elevation. Birds were fairly quiet. Butterflies were in abundance and many deer with fawns were munching along the roadsides. An incredible full moon Saturday night reflected beautifully across Abbott Lake casting Sharp Top in the shadows.
